Это обиженная месть взрослой девочки за жизнь справедливого, пострадавшего за честь, закон и порядок отца. Добро победило зло, но.. опять почему-то с хитростью и обманом (она прикинулась мертвой).
А так, вполне милая женщина, хотя и тут есть подозрения. Пресса регулярно рождает слухи о ее лесбийских наклонностях. Любящая людей Венера в свободном бисексуальном Водолее подтверждает нам эту свободо_любивую версию.
Говорят, сейчас Шэрон остепенилась и меняет основной инстинкт на материнский. Это случилось после фильма "Глория", где она проникается этим чувством к похищенному ребенку, попавшему в лапы к мафии. Yesterday it was announced that Andie McDowell had joined the cast with her real life daughter Rainey Qualley with Susan Sarandon and daughter Evan Amurri Martino also on board with Christina Ricci. Director Paul Duddridge has stated the film will be a drama focusing on 12 mothers and their vary relationships with their daughters. I had the honor and privilege to be asked by Co-Founder of the NGLCC, Mr. Justin Nelson and by the coordinator for the event, Mr. Will Hiley to partake and provide my interior design services to set up three sitting/holding rooms for U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Sir Elton John and Sharon Stone.
This Georgetown manse in Washington, D.C. was the venue for the Global Equality Gala hosted by the HRC on the evening of July 23, 2012. I accepted such challenge with great enthusiasm and the desire to help in this great cause. The short notice and time allotted to complete this task was challenging but not impossible to accomplish.
I immediately contacted Mr. Todd Martz , the owner of American Eye Showroom, who graciously accepted to help. His showroom is located at the Washington Design Center, where I normally do my furniture search for my clients. The rooms needed to be quickly assembled and to follow protocol in their lay-out and set up. I was given about 48 hrs from the time I was contacted to the time I had the last piece of furniture placed down. One room was to welcome Sir Elton John and Ms. Clinton, the other was to welcome Ms. Sharon Stone and one was set to hold “open conversations” and to be located on the main level.
I hope you enjoy these quick phone shots I took before security swept the place. I set up these rooms with a lot of care and in hopes that my humble contribution could further help in making this a great event. Always looking forward to better living………..Ricardo A. Ramos

Finché un giorno l’automobile della personal chef spezzina finisce in panne. Cofano fumante in un viale che pare non avere fine tra un’altrettanto teoria di ville “blindate” della dorata Beverly Hills. Il tempo stringe. Bisogna mettersi ai fornelli, ma l’auto non ne vuole sapere di ripartire. «Ma io sono ottimista e ho una volontà di ferro - racconta Rossella - . Mi sono detta: ma chi l’ha detto che non è giornata? Forza, diamoci da fare. Il carattere si vede quando le cose ti vanno male nel giorno in cui tutto dovrebbe essere ok. Così ho proseguito a piedi cercando la residenza cui l’agenzia mi aveva indirizzata».

I sogni si realizzano. Non serve il curriculum pieno di referenze, le raccomandazioni non sono essenziali. Se vuoi ce la fai».

«Precisiamo: gli States sono un altro mondo. Qui i giovani stanno a casa fino a 30 anni perché non ci sono le condizioni economiche per stare da soli. Se vogliamo imitare l’America va fatto al 100%».

«Sì anche autista di Limousine e non avevo mai guidato una macchina così».
Come ha imparato a cucinare?
«Merito di mamma. La cucina italiana fa impazzire gli americani. Stravedono per le pietanze semplici alla ligure».

«Melanzane alla parmigiana. Pollo all’arancia. Polpette di carne e un gelato alla vaniglia».

«Mi sono presentata ai ristoranti come chef anche se non lo ero. Mi ha preso un locale italiano. Poi chef al Fornaio di Beverly Hills ristorante frequentato da gente bene, politici e attori».

Tornata in Italia che cosa fa?
«Ho fondato l’associazione Soul to Soul a Riccò del Golfo in insieme a Jenny Grassi. Siamo attivi in una palazzina liberty del primo ‘900. Ci sono sessanta soci. Organizziamo gite per i boschi, escursioni camminata sedute di rilassamento e il bagno di gong».
Che cos’è?
«Per un ora il master gong Massimo Piazza fa vibrare il gong e la gente si rilassa tra cibi naturali».
Che cosa le ha insegnato la sua esperienza?
«Se ti vuoi bene tutto cambia. Se uno è forte raggiunge gli obiettivi. Ti devi amare».
Di Spezia che cosa pensa?
«Se puntassimo tutto sul turismo saremmo ok. Siamo circondati di bellezze, ma chiusi».

"Un giorno vado a trovarla nel suo albergo, entro nella stanza e lei era distesa sul letto solo con gli slip". Sono state le parole di Pippo Baudo in un'intervista al Riano Festival Cave 2012, riferendosi alla meravigliosa Sharon Stone. "Lei mi disse: 'Look me' - continua Pippo Baudo - Io la guardo meravigliato. Mi dice di togliermi gli occhiali, me li pulisce e mi ridice: 'Look me again'. Ed io la guardo ma non faccio nulla. Poi parliamo solo del programma del giorno dopo. L'indomani, prima dell'inizio della trasmissione, lei arriva, mi toglie gli occhiali, me li pulisce e mi ripete: 'Look me!'. Solo a quel punto ho capito che avevo perso un'occasione...".
La vicenda risalirebbe al 2003, quando i due lavorarono insieme in occasione del Festival di Sanremo. Tra i due la complicità era evidente, tanto che il conduttore aveva raccontato a Gente di essersi preso "una cotta" in piena regola per l'attrice, nonostante le nozze con Katia Ricciarelli andassero a gonfie vele. Adesso, dopo tutti questi anni, Baudo ha raccontato come andarono le cose. Come avrà fatto a resistere al sex appeal della meravigliosa protagonista di Basic Instinct?

ROMA - Ognuno di noi si porta dietro il ricordo della "occasione della vita". Del giorno in cui l'oggetto del desiderio, tanto agognato quanto inarrivabile, ha improvvisamente abbassato la guardia e... noi non l'abbiamo capito o eravamo troppo sorpresi per credere che fosse vero. Ma "l'occasione" deve essere davvero un macigno nella memoria se si chiama Sharon Stone, una delle donne più ammirate di sempre. Ebbene, è proprio questo il "peso" che si è portato dietro Pippo Baudo, fino a liberarsene rispondendo alle domande di Cecilia Gentile nella serata del "Riano Festival nelle Cave 2012". Aggiungendo molto pepe a un episodio a lungo considerato alla stregua di una leggenda metropolitana.

Ecco il suo racconto: "Sharon Stone? Un giorno vado a trovarla nel suo albergo, entro nella stanza e lei era distesa sul letto solo con gli slip. Lei mi disse: 'Look me'. Io la guardo meravigliato. L'incontro ravvicinato sarebbe avvenuto nel 2003, Baudo sposato con Katia Ricciarelli e la diva americana ospite al Festival di Sanremo presentato dal conduttore siciliano. Due anni dopo, Baudo aveva già raccontato a Gente il turbamento per la situazione, ma senza entrare nei suoi più intimi dettagli e, soprattutto, dando alla storia un finale molto, molto diverso.
"Quella donna intelligente, bellissima, mi aveva affascinato. Ero pronto a tutto: bisogna capire quando la vita ti vuol fare un regalo". Nel 2005, dunque, Baudo aveva capito tutto, altro che stupore. Eppure, durante quel Festival nessuno parlò del suo debole per la Stone, neanche quando l'attrice, arrivando sul palco del Festival, gli si avvicinò dicendogli "Amore mio".
"La prima volta che la vidi" aveva raccontato Baudo "rimasi davvero turbato. Ma lei reagì come fossi trasparente. All'inizio non mi volle neppure vedere e io non ne capivo il motivo. Allora le mandai due dozzine di rose bianche. E lei mi chiamò dicendomi: 'Ci vediamo su nella mia suite'. Mi prendono in giro perché normalmente ho il passo lungo. Quella volta mi lasciai indietro il Gatto con gli stivali".
Anche nell'intervista del 2005, per Baudo fu Sharon a prendere l'iniziativa. "Mi venne incontro, sorridente e sicura. Mi si piazzò davanti. Restai impalato come un allocco". Quanto alla storia degli occhiali, Baudo diede alla scena ben altra interpretazione. "Mi tolse gli occhiali, continuando a guardarmi in maniera ironica e seducente, cominciò a pulirmeli. Era il suo modo di dirmi 'sei simpatico, hai superato l'esame".
Nudità della Stone a parte (e a parte quegli slip, proprio l'unico indumento che l'attrice "non" indossava nella scena madre di Basic Instinct), è a questo punto che le versioni di Baudo divergono in modo sostanziale: in quella rilasciata oggi, lui non capì e parlò solo di tv. Nell'intervista del 2005, Baudo si disse "pronto a tutto", ma qualcuno entrò nella stanza. "Lei mi restituì gli occhiali e, con naturalezza, si allontanò. Andò così, sono un gentiluomo, dico sempre la verità".
Per la verità...ora sono due le verità di Baudo. Come spesso accade, col tempo la realtà dei fatti può sfumare in ricostruzioni inquinate dalle sensazioni postume e dalle riflessioni su cosa accadde e cosa invece sarebbe potuto accadere. Chi può fare chiarezza, se non proprio Sharon Stone? Non è peccato sperare che, anziché smentire o tacere, anche lei possa essere nel giusto mood per una confessione in piena regola. Sharon Stone, Carrie Fisher among celebs set for Roseanne roast -- EXCLUSIVE by Dan Snierson
When Roseanne Barr is toasted and roasted next week on Comedy Central, Sharon Stone and Carrie Fisher will be among those firing up the grill, EW has learned. The Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne will also feature Katey Sagal and Seth Green on the dais, along with a wrecking crew of comics such as Jeffrey Ross, Amy Schumer, and Anthony Jeselnik. (Sorry, kids, no Tom Arnold.)
Jane Lynch has previously been announced as the roast master for the ceremony honoring the comedienne/actress/unsuccessful Green Party presidential candidate that will be filmed on Aug. 4 and air on Aug. 12.
The last celebrity to be roasted on Comedy Central was Charlie Sheen, whose Sept. 2011 spectacle drew 6.4 million viewers, making it the network’s second most watched telecast ever.

Sharon Stone estará no Porto, dia 22, ao lado da já anunciada presença de Andie MacDowell. As atrizes norte-americanas serão madrinhas dos navios-hotel da DouroAzul, o "AmaVida" e o "Queen Isabel".
Sharon Stone, protagonista de inúmeros filmes de Hollywood, como é exemplo o mítico "Instinto Fatal", foi convidada pela DouroAzul para ser madrinha do navio-hotel "AmaVida" e estará presente na cerimónia de batismo da embarcação, no dia 22.
Também a atriz Andie MacDowell já tinha confirmado a sua presença no Porto, como madrinha do "Queen Isabel".
A cerimónia de inauguração das duas embarcações irá assinalar os 20 anos do Grupo DouroAzul, servindo em simultâneo de homenagem ao Douro como património mundial da Humanidade atribuído pela UNESCO.
Sharon Stone e Andie MacDowell cumprirão, durante a sua estadia no Porto, um programa social que tem como objetivo a promoção a nível nacional e internacional do Porto e do Douro.

Sharon Stone, Tracy Morgan to lobby lawmakers for arts funding
A swarm of actors and actresses — including Sharon Stone, Tracy Morgan, Tiffani Thiessen, and Alfre Woodard — is trading Hollywood for the Hill, as they head to Washington to lobby lawmakers for arts funding.
The group of artists — which will also include Patricia Arquette, “Private Practice’s” Tim Daly, Kevin McHale of “Glee” fame, Sam Trammell from “True Blood,” Giancarlo Esposito, “The Office” actor Leslie David Baker, and Josh Radnor — all hail from The Creative Coalition.
The nonprofit organization is sending the delegation to D.C. for Capitol Hill Arts Day on April 26. While in town, the group says it will “urge Members of Congress and the White House to invest in our nation’s dollars in the arts” and encourage funding for the National Endowment for the Arts.
The funding push will come a day before the celeb-filled annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington.

Vision Films has announced today that it has picked up worldwide rights to the inspirational documentary Femme, which is directed by Emmanuel Itier (The Invocation, The Midnight Hour), and is executive produced and narrated by Sharon Stone (Casino, Basic Instinct).

Sul set con Scamarcio, l'estate romana di Sharon Stone
UNA settimana con Sharon Stone. L'attrice di Hollywood arriva nella Capitale domani per girare il film di Pupi Avati "Un ragazzo d'oro", con Riccardo Scamarcio e nel cast anche Cristiana Capotondi. La bella Sharon Stone, 55 anni ma sempre splendida, dalla vita sentimentale piuttosto complicata, ha concluso da qualche mese la storia d'amore con il modello argentino Martin Mica (27 anni) e si frequenta da aprile con il miliardario degli Hampton Michael Wudyka, 46 anni, proprietario dell'albergo stellato Enclave Inn a Bridgehampoton. Sul set vivrà una liason con Scamarcio. SHARON Stone arriverà domani mattina dalla Toscana, dove ha partecipato il 13 sera al galà per l'iniziativa del cantante Andrea Bocelli al Teatro del Silenzio di Lajatico, dove c'erano anche Sarah Ferguson, Pino Daniele, Peter Cincotti e Riccardo Cocciante. Come al recente Festival di Cannes, l'attrice non ha un accompagnatore, ma non si esclude un arrivo a sorpresa del miliardario americano Michael Wudyka, sua attuale "fiamma". La Stone alloggerà in una suite all'Hassler a Trinità dei Monti, ed ha già richiesto in camera cibi naturali e biologici insieme al tè verde.
Il film, con la regia di Pupi Avati e prodotto da Combo Produzione di Flavia Parnasi, Rai Cinema e dalla DueA del fratello del regista Antonio Avati, si comincia a girare giovedì mattina a Piazza del Popolo in una delle due chiese gemelle, dove si svolgerà il funerale del padre di Riccardo Scamarcio, un pubblicitario milanese che, nella storia, è il figlio di uno scrittore che si è suicidato, mente la Stone interpreta un'agguerrita editrice, Ludovica Stern, dalla quale Scamarcio vuole far pubblicare il libro del padre. Fra i due nascerà una forte passione ed è previsto un bacio travolgente nel traffico di Roma. E sembra che Valeria Golino, da anni compagna del giovane attore, sarà sempre presente sul set.
Altre scene saranno girate in un set al chiuso all'interno di una villa sul Lungotevere. Per tutta la settimana la diva sarà nella Capitale e sono stati allertati già diversi ristoranti per una cena esclusiva in onore dell'attrice (si parla dell'Antica Pesa a Trastevere, ma anche del Bolognese che proprio perché in piazza del Popolo sembra in pole position).
Riccardo Scamarcio, nel film, vuole concludere il libro scritto dal padre, che racconta del mondo cinematografico romano, e per quello da Milano si trasferisce a Roma in cerca di un editore, incontrando così Sharon Stone. Cristiana Capotondi interpreta il ruolo della fidanzata di Scamarcio, che sarà lasciata per Sharon Stone. Le ultime due giornate di lavoro in Italia si gireranno invece a Milano.

BOLOGNA, 14 luglio 2013 - Pupi Avati e Sharon Stone sullo stesso set. Lei, Avati, ha sempre voglia di spiazzare e voltare pagina... «Chi mi conosce sa che non ho mai corteggiato star o icone».
E quindi? «Quindi quando ho scritto questa storia, Il ragazzo d’oro, nel momento in cui evocavo il personaggio di Ludovica Stern, qualcosa di misterioso mi ha evocato proprio lei».
Dall’immaginazione ai fatti il passo è lungo. «Però questo ha prodotto in me la necessità folle di provarci, ovviamente dissuaso dai più. Tutti a dire: è una perdita di tempo».
E invece... «Invece la determinazione, la competenza, la caparbietà di mio fratello Antonio ha fatto sì che è molto probabile che giovedì prossimo Sharon Stone arrivi sul set...».
Probabile? «Le do la conferma giovedì — ride —. Se questo accadrà, ripeto, lo devo veramente alla capacità di Antonio che ha mosso alcune sue amicizie a Los Angeles nuotando in quel clima di totale diffidenza che Hollywood nutre oggi verso il nostro cinema»
E come dargli torto. La storia? «In realtà è una ‘‘serata di gala’’ apparecchiata per Riccardo Scamarcio, nei panni di un figlio che vuole scrivere quel romanzo incompiuto del padre, morto suicida. Ancora una volta, come vede, la storia di un rapporto padre-figlio».
È un momento drammatico per il nostro cinema. Ma lei sta per girare questo film e parallelamente il tv movie ‘’Il bambino cattivo’’ con Luigi Lo Cascio e Donatella Finocchiaro. Ma come fa? «In 74 anni non sono mai stato baciato dal dono dell’ubiquità. Avevamo un accordo per girare con Sharon Stone dal 18 luglio, ma nel frattempo è entrato anche il tv movie: da giovedì allora girerò tutte le scene con l’attrice, poi sarò sul set del film Rai quindi tra settembre-ottobre finirò il film per le sale».
E ’’Il bambino cattivo’’ di cosa parla? «Sarà trasmesso in una sola serata il 24 novembre dopo la messa in onda della fiction Un matrimonio, ed è promosso dall’Authority per l’infanzia. È la storia della disgregazione di un rapporto familiare vista attraverso gli occhi di un bambino di 11 anni. Quando si diventa anziani si torna ad essere vulnerabili, come i bambini. Io voglio raccontare le trepidazioni, le paure di un ragazzino che vede i genitori separarsi... forse raccontandolo attraverso i suoi occhi potremmo riuscire a responsabilizzare qualcuno...».
Insisto, i set italiani sono paralizzati ma lei... «Dipende dal fatto che, al contrario di tanti altri, noi finanziariamente rischiamo in proprio. The November 6 event, which generally draws more than 600 people from the fields of art, fashion, philanthropy, film and other areas of entertainment, will honour artists Lita Albuquerque, Nancy Rubins, Helen Pashgian and Betye Saar. All were represented in the Getty’s Pacific Standard Time: Art in L.A. 1945-1980.
The award recognises women providing leadership and innovation in visual arts, dance, music and literature.
“Sharon Stone has established herself prominently in the world of film and humanitarian activism,” event chairman Ricki Ring said in a statement. “We are proud to include her in this diverse group of outstanding individuals who have set a standard for contemporary visual arts, culture and entertainment in Los Angeles.”
Most recently, Stone played Linda Lovelace’s mother, Dorothy Boreman, in the 2013 film Lovelace.
Albuquerque, born in Santa Monica, is a founding artist for MOCA; she’s gained international acclaim as a painter and sculptor, especially for what MOCA calls “her ephemeral pigment installations”.
Rubins, a sculptor and installation artist who taught for years at UCLA, is known for what could be called “object flowers” and other large-scale sculptural works.
MOCA calls Pashgian “one of the pioneers of the California Light and Space movement of the 1960s”. The Pasadena native participated in MOCA’s 2010’s The Artist’s Museum and is known for her translucent, often brightly coloured cast resin pieces.
Los Angeles-born Saar, says MOCA, is “one of the great assemblagists of our time”. She’s been part of solo and group exhibitions at MOCA including WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution, 1965-1980 (2007) and Sanctified Visions (1990).
The Women in the Arts event, presented by the MOCA fundraising arm the MOCA Projects Council, is a benefit for MOCA’s educational programmes, such as its Contemporary Art Start, which aims to develop creative thinking and discussion skills among third — through 12th-graders in LA County.
MOCA’s 2012 awards luncheon, also held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, honoured photographer Annie Leibovitz; the award was presented by Maria Shriver. Though Leibovitz has photographed practically every Hollywood heavyweight, rock star and politician of note over the last 40 years, it was a photograph of Niagara Falls, from her recently released book Pilgrimage, that she chose to show at the event.
Last year’s event also showcased the 2012 Fall collection by Akris, a German-based, luxe fashion house. This year’s luncheon will include a fashion show by Just One Eye, an L.A.-based luxe design boutique/gallery.

Sharon Stone Sues Producer Bob Yari Over Hemingway Biopic
The actress claims $500,000 in damages after the 'Crash' producer allegedly asked her to falsify documents to go to Cuba to shoot "Papa."
Sharon Stone has sued producer Bob Yari and his production companies alleging she was encouraged to falsify documents to shoot an Ernest Hemingway biopic in Cuba.
The complaint, filed Wednesday in Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, claims Yari, Magenta Light Productions and Sixth Floor Literary Properties attempted to lure Stone into a fraudulent scheme to avoid U.S. government licensing requirements before filming Papa in 2012.
Stone alleges she was asked to forego other projects to commit to the movie based on a false representation that Yari had the necessary documents to film in Cuba. The complaint goes on to claim that the Basic Instinct star was encouraged to "commit a fraud and a lie on her license application with the United Stares governmental agencies and to check a box indicating that she was going to Cuba for a 'cultural endeavor' " rather than to shoot the movie, which could have put her passport privileges in jeopardy.
The defendants are alleged to have agreed orally to put $500,000 in escrow for Stone but the suit claims they have refused.
Stone was to have played Mary Hemingway during the five-week shoot, according to the lawsuit, which describes Yari as "someone who lies and schemes to avoid contractual or monetary obligations." Yari has been a party to several legal cases in connection with Crash. According to the suit, after Stone said she would not travel without the legal licenses, she was told that her role would be recast and that she would need to return a wig loaned to her for the production.
Stone is seeking at least $500,000 and is represented by attorney Marty Singer.
The Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Bob Yari Productions for comment.

Found Dead: Sharon Stone ‘Devastated’ Over Nephew’s ‘Suspected Heroin Overdose’
The holiday season could be heartbreaking for Sharon Stone. RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the actress is “devastated” following the sudden death of her beloved 22-year-old nephew, Colin Stone, from a suspected heroin overdose.
Colin, the son of Sharon’s brother Michael Stone, was found dead at his apartment in Hollwyood on November 10 “during a welfare check by his apartment manager,” said Ed Winter of the L.A. County Coroner’s office.
“His death was recorded as a possible overdose, pending toxicology reports,” Winter added.
Sources connected to the situation tell Radar exclusively that “the death was believed to be a heroin overdose.”
According to an insider, the 56-year-old actress was filming Life on the Line with John Travolta when she got the awful news.
“Years ago, she helped Colin’s dad – her brother, Michael – get his life back on track after serving time for selling [drugs],” the source tells Radar, referring to her brother, now 63, who served two years in jail for “possession of a kilo of cocaine.”
“Michael was able to escape a life of drugs,” the source said. “Unfortunately, his son was not so lucky.”

Another sad news for Sharon, just in a few days. Last week on November 12 she lost another family member. Her adopted grandfather Neil Mitzman has died at 82 in New York.

Charlie Sheen, Sharon Stone, Arnold Schwarzenegger Toast Marty Singer at Wild Lawyer of the Year Dinner
"Marty might be the only person who has f---ed more people than I have," Sheen said of the pitbull attorney.
The Beverly Hills Bar Association's annual entertainment lawyer of the year dinner is typically a staid affair, with a few Hollywood stars saying nice things about their attorney before everyone finishes their banquet steak and heads home. But Wednesday's event honoring Marty Singer ended up being a star-packed and often ribald roast of the pitbull litigator, topped off by an appearance by Singer client Charlie Sheen, who toasted his lawyer by saying, "Marty might be the only person who has f---ed more people than I have." Sheen, who arrived quietly in the middle of dinner and appeared as the final speaker for Singer, poked fun at his $100 million litigation with Warner Bros. over his firing from Two and a Half Men last year. "A lot has been said about my past," Sheen said. "But trust me, I never screwed a hooker as hard as Marty screwed Warner Bros." Sheen added: "I've got 100 million reasons to say thank you."
Sheen's antics topped off a night of funny toasts to the aggressive lawyer, who has long been one of Hollywood's go-to problem solvers for top talent and author of some of the longest and most threatening cease-and-desist letters in the business.
Tom Arnold, who emceed the gathering about about 400 lawyers and other guests, started the evening with a profanity-laced routine assailing his ex-wife Roseanne ("My wife was a walking lawsuit," he said. "There were a lot of billable hours in that crazy bitch.") and poking fun at ex-Governor and his True Lies co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was sitting at the front table with Singer. "He doesn't look like a 65 year old man," Arnold said of Schwarzenegger. "He looks like a 40 year old lesbian." Sharon Stone later took the stage to fete her lawyer. "You call Marty because you need someone like Mike Tyson in the Holyfield fight, when he bit his ear off," she said, adding, "Marty is such a bad ass motherf--er." Stone then referenced her infamous leg-crossing scene in Basic Instinct, which she said could have been impacted by Singer. "If I had known him back when I was making Basic Instinct, I could have gotten Marty Singer to take that scene out of the movie," she said, semi-jokingly. Other Singer clients in attendance included John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston and filmmaker William Friedkin, who gave an eloquent speech (Sample line: "There are two words that strike fear into the hearts of network and studio heads: Marty Singer."). Also spotted were Priscilla Presley, Michael Clark Duncan, Debi Mazar, Dog the Bounty Hunter and wife Beth, as well as a who's-who of talent lawyers, including Jake Bloom (wearing a suit!), Melanie Cook, Carlos Goodman, Karl Austen and last year's lawyer of the year winner Ken Kleinberg.

Se llamaba Rafael de Cózar Sievert, Fito para los compadres, y murió en Bormujos, Sevilla, cuando se le pegó fuego a la casa, intentando salvar su biblioteca. Borgianamente fiel a sí mismo, hasta el final.
Era catedrático de Literatura, pero no se le notaba. Nacido en Tetuán, recastado en Cádiz, cuajado en Sevilla, estaba santificado con el don de la guasa permanente, el humor rápido, el disparate surrealista. En veinticinco años de amistad jamás lo vi malhumorado, ni lo oí hablar mal de nadie. Nunca tuvo un enemigo. No conocía la maldad, ni la envidia, ni la deslealtad. Tampoco conocía la vergüenza. Lo interpreté como el último chiste que nos brindaba a los compadres. Jesús Vigorra, el cuarto mosquetero, leyó unos versos de Fito que parecían anunciar su muerte en aquel diciembre: un hermoso balance de su vida. Y el páter estuvo magnífico, recordando sus charlas con el difunto en el bar de Bormujos. De vez en cuando, en mitad del responso, el cura no podía aguantar la risa. «Perdonen -decía- pero es que me estoy acordando de cuando me dijo...». Y así todo el rato. La familia alternaba las carcajadas con las lágrimas. Fito Cózar parecía estar allí sentado entre nosotros, con su copa y su cigarrito en la mano, cachondeándose de todo. Y el momento cumbre llegó cuando el páter, en mitad de un gorigori, inclinó el rostro hacia el altar, partiéndose otra vez de risa. «Perdónenme -dijo-, pero acabo de darme cuenta de que he traicionado a Rafael... Me hizo jurar un día de copas que cuando muriera, en vez de agua bendita en el hisopo, le pondría vino».
Se fue como un señor. Tras habérselo bebido, habérselo fumado, habérselo fumigado todo, haberse reído de todo, con mujeres guapas y amigos fieles llorando por él. En un momento determinado, entre la gente, en una mujer vestida de negro y con pamela, me pareció reconocer de lejos a Sharon Stone. No puedo afirmarlo, claro. Pero no me habría sorprendido que fuera ella, porque «Charon», como Fito la llamaba con mucha familiaridad, era su mujer fetiche. En aquellas noches interminables de humo y alcohol, en las que podía pasarse horas contando chistes, solía mencionarla mucho. Y siempre nos contaba el día glorioso, inolvidable, en que la conoció: «Yo, aquí donde me veis, estuve con Sharon Stone, y esa mujer marcó mi vida. Nunca pude olvidarla. Sharon Stone sued by Brooklyn public relations company after failing to show for speaking tour in Ecuador
Next time they should call The Kardashians.
A Brooklyn public relations agency is suing actress Sharon Stone for failing to meet her obligation to appear in Ecuador on a speaking tour about oil contamination in the Amazon.
The agency, MCSquared, claims in the breach of contract lawsuit, that it shelled out $275,000 to a Massachusetts booking agency and an additional $77,400 "to accommodate Stone's diva-like requests," according to the suit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court.
Stone fell ill and was hospitalized in Brazil in April 2014 shortly before she was due to make three days of appearances in the South American country.
"As of the date of this filing, neither American Program Bureau nor Stone has refunded MCS the $275,000," the suit contends.
Stone’s demands included first-class airline tickets, luxury hotel suites for herself and three companions, hair and makeup for the events and personal guides.
A request for comment was not immediately answered by the booking agency.
The suit acknowledges that there was only an oral agreement between MCSquared, Stone and the booking agency. Rather, there was a "meeting of the minds," the suit states.
Stone, 56, was scheduled to fly to the Amazon jungle in the Orellana Province where the inhabitants have been trying to get Chevron oil company to clean up the mess left by its predecessor Texaco.
She was expected to meet with the president and vice president of Ecuador about the contamination and raise awareness about environmental issues.
MCSquared claims it was further damaged because as a result of not having a replacement celebrity for Stone, the agency's multi-million contract with Ecuador was not renewed.

Stone's going after a construction company for screwing up a major remodel at her Beverly Hills home ... which included some fancy upgrades like heated floors.
Sharon is suing Zuma Canyon Construction -- the general contractor she hired in 2013 to redo her master bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen and powder room. She says the original estimate for the renovation was $225,000.
In the suit, she says much of the work on her home was royally screwed up. For instance, she says the controls for her heated floor were installed in the shower ... exposing them to water intrusion. More water trouble -- Sharon says there was a puncture in the floor of the shower, which led to leaks.
Besides the alleged shoddy work, Sharon says the contractor didn't even get city permits to do much of it.
She's suing Zuma Canyon Construction and other sub-contractors for unspecified damages. We reached out to ZCC, but no word back.

Stone just got a judge to sign off on a restraining order against Phillip Barnes ... who's been flooding her with letters for the last 5 years, even though he's been behind bars most of that time.
In court docs, she included one of his bizarre letters which read, "I have 11 wifes picked out and would cause about 18 kids ... you would sit at the other head of the dineing [sic] table."
Sharon says a December 2014 letter was more off the wall, with Barnes asking her to bring him "2 Crown Royal bags full of diamonds ... my 2 CIA badges, 20 billion dollars worth of Department of Treasury checks ... and my gun silencer."
She says Barnes recently wrote to say he's up for evaluation and could be be released in 4 months. That's what prompted her to head to court.
Stone also got a restraining order against him in 2011 after he made it onto her Hollywood Hills property, but it expired in 2013.

Sharon Stone is a screen icon, with a résumé littered with pieces of the pop culture zeitgeist and acclaimed box-office hits. Among the latter are movies like Basic Instinct, Total Recall and Casino, which made $260.42 million, $259.13 million and $89.49 million domestically, respectively, adjusted for inflation.
As her latest film, All I Wish, gets ready to hit theaters and VOD, she’s fighting hard to make her own directorial debut — it's a fight she's been having for over two decades.
I caught up with Stone to talk about how she’s been literally laughed at for asking for the money to make her own movie yet refuses to give up, the 25th anniversary of Sliver and why she still has the first $100 she ever earned, framed and sitting on her shelf at home.
Simon Thompson: Domestically, your movies have taken over $1.53 billion, adjusted for inflation. Did you realize that?
Sharon Stone: Wow. I did not realize that, no, but that's a big number. I guess that means I make a lot of people happy at the movies.
ST: That's something that you've been consistently doing now for a couple of decades. What do you think is your enduring appeal?
SS: I think it's that I love what I do. When I go to work I love being there, I love the people that I work with, I love the crew, the production designers, the set decorators, I love everyone there and I love the sense of being a team. I love that we work together and we make something out of nothing, we're capturing it on film and bringing this magical thing into people's lives.
ST: Is that how it has always been for you?
SS: I was sick and I was in the hospital for a long time. I remember hallucinating some of the scenes from Cinema Paradiso and I think about that because it was so deeply moving and touching to me. I was also hearing the song Bridge over Troubled Water when I was in and out of consciousness. I think that art and film and music and paintings touch us so deeply that they stay in our subconscious. When we do our jobs well we can touch people even in their darkest time. I think that's a wonderful gift that we have, to give people a break away from days that aren’t always great and things that aren’t always wonderful. Not everybody gets up every day to a perfect day.
ST: Because you have such a deep connection with art, why haven't you directed something yet?
SS: I'm actually in the process of getting a script financed that I want to direct and I'm just getting it all organized. I had a very interesting meeting yesterday with the lawyers where they said to me, 'OK, well, we can see that you want your budget to be somewhere around $4 million to $5 million?' I started laughing and was like, 'Really? So when Mel Gibson went out to direct his first movie you suggested he should ask for $4 million to $5 million for Braveheart?' It's like when you're a woman and you go out to direct a movie, after working for decades in the film business, immediately they suggest you try to make a film for $4 million. I've done 70 movies. Why should I try to make a movie for $4 million? No, I'd like to have a budget to make my movie. I've been in the film business my entire life, thank you very much. I'm not new, I'm not just beginning, and I have made movies with every great director and every great cinematographer ever. When you're a woman and you start going out to make a movie everybody suggests you should make it for no money but when you're a man and you go out and start to make a movie people finance your movies.
ST: Something that resonated with me about your character in All I Wish is that she comes a point in her life where she has to throw off the shackles of expectation and just live life and take a risk. Is that the kind of attitude that you also have towards your career now?
SS: I've always sort of done that. After I did Basic Instinct I asked a studio to give me $8 million to direct a movie and everybody laughed at me. For a woman in the film business, even though my film made so much money, there wasn't even a space to ask the question. 25 years later I'd like to ask the question, 'Now can I get finance to direct a film?' I spend days and days on sets when I'm not working turning up anyway to spend my time with my great directors and to see what they're doing. I have the honor of spending time with the best filmmakers alive, the best cinematographers, the best producers, and the best studios under my belt and it's just that I want that to mean something.
ST: Some actors are 'show and go' but you want to stick around and learn. Are people surprised when you do that?
SS: I don't think they think that's what I'm doing. I think they think I'm just hanging around. I don't think they think that I'm hanging around to learn.
ST: 2018 marks the 25th anniversary of Sliver. It's one of your most successful movies. What are your memories of it?
SS: Well, frankly, most people making that film were nuts. They were trying to repackage me after Basic Instinct and I think they were just attempting to take that movie's energy and squeeze another hit out of it. I think they kind of did it but they could have done a better job.
ST: Do you remember your first professional paycheck? What it was for, how much it was and how you felt when you received it?
SS: I do because I'm a poor kid from Pennsylvania. I framed my first $100 bill and I still have it here on the shelf behind me. It was for a modeling job in New York.
ST: Is that something that still gives you inspiration, reminds you how far you've come and keeps you hungry?
SS: I think that it's a big step for anyone to step away from what's known, from their environment, from their families, from the morays of their culture and chase their dream. I think that takes a lot of guts, it takes a lot of self-preservation and perseverance. For me, I feel like it's okay but there have been many, many times when the tide was out. I had to have the strength to just understand that my business is one where the light goes around you, like a clock, and the light doesn't always shine brightly on you. You have to find things to do and devote yourself to things that you care about in the meantime. You can't function in a business like mine from a place of desperation. You have to have a full life, a rich life, and for me, the rest of it has been a life of service. You must have something that feeds you, that fulfills you and that fills the well of your heart, your soul and your creativity. You have to have something that is your stability.
All I Wish hits theaters and will be available on VOD and Digital HD on March 30, 2018.
